the guy that helped me does bodywork, he said hes seen worse paint jobs come out of the paint booth. i'm very happy with the results.

Is that an OEM color on newer Nissans? I really like that. I definitely thought it was a professional job at first. I didn't notice the context of the photos at all.

yeah silver moss is a stock s14 color, but very rare, i've never seen any in person. Yeah this cost me around 900 for everything, and it could have been cheaper using owni paint instead of ppg.

Man, that's beautiful. Great job, what was done to modify the area into "paint booth" status?

just 4 10x20 plastic sheets. it worked pretty good, considering how they looked when i took them down. still lots of dust. then i put a 2x4 under the garage door and opened my side entrance door and put a fan in it. worked pretty good. the house still reaks though, the wife complained alot of the smell. i had to turn the heater off and open the house up.

paint code is kr5. this is base clear. i don't think single stage could possibly look this nice.

I've only ever done little things with body work and paint. this was my first car. I don't think i will ever do it again, i think body work has got to be the worse job ever. Some people just don't realize how much work goes into a nice paint job. and how little goes into a crappy one.

Look what came today. i'll get some pics sitting next to the car soon.
just need front 5 lug hubs and tires. I can't wait to see these on it.

I bought a new house with a 3 car garage. so its gonna take some time before i get back to working on this car. but i have to get it rolling first so i can tow it to the new house.
So much work to do, you should see my garage now, its just packed with car ****. I finally got rid of my red 240 and all the parts that were on it are now sitting on the floor, including the motor.

Time for a damn update. its been getting worked on but its slow.
carpet has been cleaned and put back in. doors and fenders are lined up and done.
I've been working on the body harness the most. both fuse boxes are hidden and lots of wires extended and cut. Car is dirty but when we're done wetsanding i'll wash it for the first time and it'll be all cleaned up.
as you look at this stuff, keep in mind this car will probably never see rain again. its gonna be a summer and track car.

made this today. battey rack turned out pretty cool. it ain't goin anywhere

hoping to finish the wiring tomorrow and then get the motor in.

wet sanding, buffing and polishing are done.

engine is finally in. i lifted up the car instead of dropping in the motor. then i lifted the motor up into the bay. much easier and no scratches.

Tires will be here next week. pics of them on the car should be up on thursday.
