Did you have to space the T/C rod bracket up front down to clear the oil pan?

i think I spotted spacers.

nice swap.. very tight fit indeed.

but as much as effort and time you guys put into this project, why not spend more time on the exhaust? it looks kinda bad compare to the rest of the work

but good job man

will the r200v handle that? i'd think a r230 rear would be a much better choice in this situation?

The mechanical part seems pretty straightforward, but what about the wiring??

Do all your gauges work like they are supposed to??? And are those the Hinson headers as well??

How was the quality of the Hinson parts? Did you have to do any custom work to make the Hinson parts fit or did they actually "bolt on" like they say?

The subframe bushings bother me the most. How does the car steer and handle with the subframe lowered like that? I've been researching this idea for quite some time and I really want to go through with it but I am hoping someone will create a "kit" that does not lower the subframe like that. XAT racing in Tampa advertises LS1 swaps on thier site now but I got no response to my questions when I emailed them.

always cool to see, if i were to have done it i wouldnt have routed the exhaust like that...I think routing it to something that would except a s14 specific exhaust would have been better or if you really wanted it to stay dual, I would have routed the extra piping parallel to the stock path and just run them through a single dual inlet/outlet canister with some nice tips

The kit is ok but they forget to send my the engine bracket so I fabricate it until they send me one other than that it is ok
It wild be a complete kit if their are header-back exhaust AC piping Heater Hoses and Installation manual

The car steer very good I can not find any problems. and handling is perfect.

I will fit today me brembo brake sys from Z350 front and rear with ss lines I will take some pic

which email did you email to?

call us 813.231.7223.

we have a ls1 mount kit and everything, and as someone who used a hinson kit last year i'll just say at xat's kit doesnt mess with suspension geometry, doesnt use spacers, allows your motor to sit lower, and you can add/remove your exhaust without use of a sawzall or making midpipes just to go thru the tranny mount. our kit also use non hardmounts with pins for easy installation/removal versus hardmounting a steel bracket to an aluminum mount.

sorry for spam, reading ls1 stuff and ran across this, thought i'd chime in.

http://www.xatracing.com/ls1.htm

that car is rad by the way. wouldnt have made this post if i wasnt clicking so many links and stuff about the car.

kinda like where you mounted the pcm.
